J+A contacted me about a month before their wedding day. I had just had a couple that had rescheduled their wedding due to covid and their original date was on the date that J+A were inquiring about. It was meant to be because I had the absolute best day with this intimate micro wedding. Before COVID crazy hit, I almost only photographed large weddings with 18 person wedding parties. Like with many of you, COVID forced me to slow down and I had the opportunity to photograph this sweet couple with just their closest friends and family.
J+A got ready at my favorite New Mexico venue, Los Poblanos. Los Poblanos Historic Farm is a gorgeous venue with sprawling lavender bushes, incredible buildings, iconic silos...honestly I could keep fan girling over the venue but I'll spare you. Go visit and you'll be part of my fan club soon, I promise.
We then headed over to the groom's family's property overlooking the Rio Grande River for the ceremony. J+A being the dream couple they were, waited until the light was perfect for the ceremony to begin and man was it worth it. What do you think? Loving these micro weddings or ready and waiting for the big huge celebrations to be back?
